Participants of the Kohala Kayak Tour will either be shuttled to or meet up at our launching site. Following an orientation, you will be outfitted with snorkeling gear and then will go on to load the paddle and kayaks. Those who need it will be given an orientation explaining how to properly use snorkeling gear. This orientation is extremely important for those new to snorkeling; it ensures that they will feel comfortable in the water. Between the months of November and March, the water temperature is approximately 75 degrees; between April and October, the temperature is around 80 degrees.
