Royal Kona Luau

Starting March 30th through April 30th, 2026, our outdoor luau stage will undergo extensive improvements. The luau show during this time frame will be held indoors. Thank you for your understanding.

Held oceanfront at the Royal Kona Resort, the Royal Kona Luau overlooks beautiful Kailua Bay. Enjoy an evening of delicious foods, cultural presentations and live island-style entertainment. Your evening begins with a shell lei greeting, after which you can stroll the luau grounds, sip a tropical cocktail and watch or participate in arts and crafts.

Then sit down to an all-you-care-to-eat luau buffet dinner featuring a wide variety of delicacies, including kalua pork, island chicken and soy-braised beef. The evening culminates with a spectacular Polynesian show - Voyagers of the Pacific - telling the story of the epic journey of the ancient Polynesians across the Pacific Ocean to make Kona their home.
